Lerato produces her wines in partnership with Anura Vineyards in the Western Cape, and Orange River Cellars in the Northern Cape, two world-class production partners who share her commitment to quality, character, and craft.

As Owner and Founder, Lerato oversees every aspect of the Lavo range, from varietal selection and harvest timing to winemaking decisions made in partnership with the skilled teams at Anura Vineyards and Orange River Cellars. She has spent a lifetime studying the land, listening to the seasons, and translating each harvest into something truly worth savouring.

The Land Behind the Wine
The heart of the Lavo range is grown on the Simonsberg foothills in the Western Cape, where warm, Mediterranean-influenced days, rich soils, and cooling mountain breezes allow each varietal to fully express its natural potential. These grapes are crafted at Anura Vineyards, one of the Western Cape's most respected estates.
The Lavo Sparkling Brut tells a different story: produced at Orange River Cellars in the Northern Cape, drawing on the unique terroir of the Green Kalahari. This is a range built on the diversity of South Africa's extraordinary winemaking regions.
